Job Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare tax payments to ensure compliance.
• Accurately estimate and track tax returns for timely filing.
• Complete detailed quarterly and annual tax reports to keep stakeholders informed.
• Organize and maintain the company’s tax database for easy access and accuracy.
• Recommend strategic tax solutions that align with business objectives.
• Prepare essential paperwork for tax payments and filings, ensuring that no details are overlooked.
• Collaborate with the accounting department by sharing crucial financial data.
• Identify potential tax savings and innovate ways to enhance profitability.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in tax legislation for proactive adjustments.
• Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors for smooth audits.
• Provide insightful tax forecasts to senior management for informed decision-making.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Manage expenditures within standard company guidelines.
• Ensure expenditures are verified and ratified by control departments.
• Provide monthly expenditure reports verified by admin/operations.
• Ensure company compliance with established policies and collaboration with other departments.
• File and remit taxes and other financial obligations.
• Be a team player with an interest in business dynamics.
• Lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
• Communicate clearly and effectively via email or phone to achieve desired outcomes.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Others Responsibilities:

• Assist in formulating the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives.
• Request sharp sand, granite, topsoil, and black soil from each site.
• Liaise with management for the delivery of requisitioned materials from each site.
• Arrange for the truck driver to pick up and deliver requested materials at scheduled times.
• Monitor and report on truck drivers and truck conditions.
• Interface with external contractors for maintenance and services.
• Ensure daily coverage on all payment vouchers raised and maintain proper classification of expenses.

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; industry certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) is preferred.
• Proven success as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software for enhanced efficiency.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel.
• Outstanding analytical and time management abilities.
• Excellent numeracy skills with meticulous attention to detail.
