Roles and Responsibilities
Financial Statement Preparation:

• Preparation of Financial Statements: Preparing and reviewing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing and submitting financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Financial Analysis and Planning:

• Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decisions.
• Financial Planning: Providing financial guidance and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

Accounting Operations:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and credit control.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, including accounts, journals, and ledgers.
• Account Reconciliations: Reconciling company accounts, such as bank statements and credit card statements.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with financial laws, regulations, and standards, such as tax laws and accounting standards.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as fraud, financial misstatement, and non-compliance.
• Internal Controls: Developing, implementing, and maintaining internal controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and validity of financial data.

Advisory and Consultancy:

• Financial Advisory: Providing financial guidance and advice to management and stakeholders.
• Tax Planning: Providing tax planning and advisory services to minimize tax liabilities.
• Financial Modeling: Developing financial models to support business decisions and strategic planning.

Other Responsibilities:

• Audits and Reviews: Preparing for and responding to audits and reviews by external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Financial Software Management: Managing and implementing financial software systems, such as accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Team Management: Supervising and managing accounting teams, including training, development, and performance management.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in related fields with 3 - 10 years work experience.
