Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Broadoaks British School, located in Abuja.
• The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records, preparing financial statements, processing invoices, ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, asset management,budgeting and handling payroll.
• The Accountant will also be responsible for complying with all regulatory requirements and supporting the financial decision-making process within the school.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and budgeting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus
• Previous experience in an educational institution is beneficial
