Job Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Prepare/publish annual budget forecasts timely.
• Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards and guidelines.
• Publish financial statements/reports and budget performance on time.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Prepare monthly and weekly payroll for staff.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations in accordance to the applicable standards (i.e GAAP, FABS) rules, regulations and system of internal control.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting and analysis of financial information.

Job Requirements

• Education: B.Sc in Financial Accounting / Finance only. MBA/ICAN and other related professional certification(added advantage.)
• Experience: Minimum of Three years cognate post NYSC work experience in SME Accounting or related.
