Accountant and Financial Analyst at Cirvee

Role Description

The Accountant and Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of Cirvee Academy. This full-time, on-site role involves:

• Preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial statements to ensure accurate reporting.
• Managing budgets, cash flows, and forecasting to aid decision-making.
• Conducting financial analysis and providing actionable insights for business strategy.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
• Handling payroll, expense tracking, and tax filings.
• Collaborating with HR and management to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
• Utilizing accounting and financial software to streamline processes and improve accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting and finance software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA or CFA certification (or progress toward these certifications) is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HR analytics and payroll systems.
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in creating financial dashboards and reports for non-financial stakeholders.
