    Account Supervisor

    ACO Nigeria is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to oversee financial operations, reporting, compliance, and budgeting activities across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while supporting the company’s renewable energy operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage full-cycle accounting including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and ledger management.
    • Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, IFRS standards, and company policies.
    • Oversee budgeting, cost control, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
    • Monitor project-level financial performance for solar installations and supply contracts.
    • Support audits, investor reporting, grant applications, and tender-related financial submissions.
    • Supervise finance team members and ensure accuracy of accounting entries and reports.
    • Coordinate inventory reconciliation, invoicing, and stock count processes.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
    • ICAN certification.
    • Minimum of 5 years accounting or finance experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
    • Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
    • Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
