    Account Receivables Officer

    About the job

    • Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, billing, and collections.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions related to accounts receivable.
    • Generate and distribute customer invoices in accordance with billing schedules.
    • Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with customers to facilitate timely collections.
    • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
    • Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
    • Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates on accounts receivable status.
    • Assist with month-end closing activities, including revenue recognition and reporting.
    • Maintain documentation and records related to accounts receivable processes and transactions.
    • Contribute to process improvements and initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Experience with telecommunications industry billing processes (preferred but not required).
