Account Officer at Taghini Foods

Job Summary:

• The Account Officer oversees day-to-day accounting operations, ensures accurate financial records, and provides leadership to the accounts team. The role supports financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the accounts team
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions (payables, receivables, and general ledger)
• Oversee reconciliation of bank statements and accounts
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Review and verify payment vouchers and invoices
• Monitor stock-related financial entries in coordination with operations
• Provide guidance and training to junior account officers

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in accounting or finance role (preferably FMCG/food manufacturing)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good leadership and communication skills
