Account Officer at Orient Global Manufacturing Limited

Responsibilities

• Managing of all accounts payable, accounts receivable and petty cash transactions reconciliation
• Control accounts reconciliation.
• Preparing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Preparing of monthly management accounts
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Work with the company’s auditors periodically, to carry out their routine checks.
• Processing of accounting journals, payment voucher and receipt voucher
• Carry out financial analysis; Computation and interpretation of financial ratios, variance analysis, business performance etc.
• Processing/ posting of all financial transactions on Quickbook to ensure timely closing of leger and control accounts.
• Preparation, processing and timely filing of all statutory returns with all relevant tax regulators e.g. VAT, WHT, NSITF, PENSION, NHF, PAYE.
• Maintains best practice standards in accounting processing.
• Preparing accounts and tax returns
• Preparation of payroll and payment of wages and salaries.
• Monitoring spending and budgets
• Financial forecasting and risk analysis
• Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
• Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
• Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
• Keeping account books and systems up to date.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years experience.
