• Our client seeks the services of a competent male accountant to join their diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Carrying out bookkeeping activities including journal postings and ledger reconciliations
• Assist in preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
• Prepare expense, payment vouchers, invoices and other accounting documents
• Assist in preparation of Payroll, Pensions and PAYE Schedules
• Reconcile Bank Accounts and other asset records and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting
• 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Active Membership of (ACCA or ICAN) is an added advantage
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
