Account Officer at Medbury Medical Services

Location: Ikeja, Lagos state.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Payables

•   Bank Reconciliation
•   Documenting financial transactions by entering accounting information.
•   Securing financial information by completing database backups.
• Computing taxes owed and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance.
• Liaising with Banks on all transactions of the Company.
• Preparing weekly cash report (a report is submitted along with payment proposal for due invoices and requisition)
• Maintaining and preparing reconciliation of Bank accounts
• Fixed asset scheduling and monitoring
• Carry out monthly bank reconciliation of all accounts
• Updating the planning documents to reflect the current position of Receivables and Payables.
• Supervise filing of all account records according to the company’s filing procedure.
• Interfirm account monitoring and accounting
• Any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 - 3 years experience
• Smart, Result Driven & Goal Oriented
• Experience with a medical service firm is an added advantage
• Bsc Accounting or Equivalent 
• Experience in Account payables
• Must be able to make effective decisions in response to a dynamic, critical, demand-led environment.
