Account Officer at Box and Cedar

Job Overview 

• To assist with the management of the school’s department and ensure efficiency with all monetary transactions, budget and cost saving measures. 

Major roles/responsibilities:

• Ensure bills and invoices are prepared according to the Rules and Regulations governing such.
• Issue receipt on all payments.
• Handling all banking transactions including reconciliation – Receipts
• Ensure proper recording of all transactions immediately they are made
• Debt Management/Control
• Assist in preparation of cash flows and yearly budget
• Monitoring & Reconciliation expenditure against budget
• Liaise with the Admissions Office towards ensuring that all children are on the Bursary Records.
• Ensure all transactions are properly documented and filed (for easy referencing)
• Weekly report of activities
• Any other assignment as may be given from time to time

Requirements

• B. Sc. / B. A / HND in Accounting
• Minimum of 5years experience 
• ICAN Certificate required
