Job Summary

Apple and Pears Limited, a manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Account Officer to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations at our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with company financial policies.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Record and process financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and journals
• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and documentation
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial procedures
• Support audits and provide required financial documentation
• Work closely with management to support budgeting and cost control activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Good communication and organizational skills

Residency Requirement

• Candidates must reside in Sagamu, Ogun State, or nearby environs.
