Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
• This position requires a strong understanding of accounting procedures, attention to detail, the ability to work independently, time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate financial reports for management to support decision-making processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for discrepancies.

Reconciliation:

• Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Tax Compliance:

• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and ensure the organization's adherence to them.

Audit Support:

• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Provide necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.

Others include:

• Collaborate with other departments,such as operations,sales,and human resources,on financial matters.
• Participate in special projects as assigned and directed.

Education Qualificaions, Experience, Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related accounting role.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA) is preferred.
• Proven experience as an accountant, with a track record of accurate financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
