Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist accountants with daily tasks.
• Prepare financial statements, reports and summaries for management, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare documentation, respond to auditor queries and assist in audit scheduled.
• Help in compiling data for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure the company adheres to relevant financial laws, regulations and accounting standards.
• Help reconcile ledgers, prepare journal entries, and ensure accurate cutoff of transactions.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting or related discipline from a reputable educational institution.
• Proven experience in similar position is required
• Proven competence in bookkeeping, accounting and financial analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges and emergencies
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Must think independently to make decisions under pressure.
