Account Assistant at Elite Oak Limited

A leading furniture manufacturer in Nigeria is looking to hire an Account Assistant.Our ideal candidate is an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for managing financial transactions,expenses,bank deposits and budgets. 

Job Description

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Assist the Accountant and other financial professionals with creating and editing financial documents 

Other duties as assigned 

Requirements

• OND Accounting, Finance or any related discipline 
• Additional certification in (ICAN,ACCA) is an added advantage 
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Communication , Accuracy, Planning and time management skill
• Detail oriented and time management skill
