    Account / Admin Executive

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos
    Admin / Account Department

    • This Department will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
    • It is also interested in accurate overviews of both Financial Reports and Records of the company’s business in order to run it efficiently.
    • In addition, this Department will provide Administrative oversight and responsibility for business functions in support of other departments within the organization, such as devising and maintaining office systems, as well as proper documentation and Filing.

    Job Description
    The Admin/Account Executive shall be responsible for all Administration and Account duties, and the roles include:

    • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and Procedure standards.
    • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
    • Supports budget and ensure financial forecasting and risk analysis.
    • Examine statements to ensure accuracy.
    • Compute taxes and VAT owed prepare tax returns; ensure prompt payment and compliance with tax legislation.
    • Suggest ways to reduce costs enhance revenues and improve profits
    • Producing and analyzing annual and monthly accounts.
    • Managing expenditure, credit, payroll and investments.
    • Creating financial plans and forecasts;
    • Advising managers on financial policy and control, such as the costs and benefits of a particular project.
    • Keeps management informed by submitting reports, such as weekly transaction reports on sales activities, monthly and annual report analyses. 
    • Monitors and accurate record keeping of old and new Stocks, Payment due dates, debtors and creditors list.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge in responding to duties.
    • Keeping records of sales and accurate customer database.
    • ensures that the office administrative and management functions of the organization is effectively performed

    Requirements
    To be Admin / Account Executive you'll need:

    • First Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or any other related course.
    • Must have knowledge of Management Accounting Fundamentals and its application, Accounting Principles, Standards and Practices as well as Administrative Management.
    • Must be able to exercise good judgement inorder to set Piorities.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Good planning and organizational skills.
    • Self-motivation, drive and initiative.
    • An outgoing and confident approach.
    • Commercial and business awareness.
    • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Salary
    N50,000 - N55,000 monthly.
