Job Summary

• The AC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems in armored vehicles, workshops, and company facilities. The role ensures cooling systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with technical standards to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in vehicles and facilities.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems and components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AC units, chillers, compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, identify defective parts, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Recharge and maintain refrigerants according to safety and environmental standards.
• Inspect AC systems regularly to detect leaks, wear, or performance issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and service manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards.
• Carry out any other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance/Workshop Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician in automobile, manufacturing, or facilities management industries.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems, and AC electrical components.

• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using AC diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
