AC Technician at Precious Palm Royal Hotel

Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioner.
• Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
• Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
• Install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.
• Make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
• Install new air-conditioning systems and equipment.
• Make plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain refrigerators.
• Carry out maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; clean evaporator drains pans, coils, and filters; and lubricate fan.
• Order for replacement of equipment parts as required, perform repairs as ordered, and keep record of servicing on equipment
• Provide assistance to colleagues in the department to effectively maintain, and repair equipment, buildings, and other of the hotel properties.
• Carry out minor electrical maintenance work, such as repair or replacement of fixtures, including wall switches and outlets, ballast, incandescent and fluorescent tubes and bulbs, fuses, sockets, etc., by applying the right tools
• Carry out minor plumbing maintenance work, including change or repair of leaks in faucets and drains, trenching and laying of new lines, unclogging of drains, etc.
• Carry out minor welding, painting, and carpentry work
• Perform related duties that may be assigned.

Requirements

• OND / HND / B.Sc Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
