As the Barge Superintendent's representative, supervise and issue work instructions to construction crew for the overall safe installation of the project, as specified by the project
Installation Procedures.
Directly reports to the Vessel Superintendent and responsible for all deck activities
Will organize via his respective subordinates anchor patterns, run anchors and moor barge at work locations in accordance with job requirements, Company and Client procedures
Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with established HSES Safety Standards and work practices.
Responsible for following the instructions and fulfilling the responsibilities within the Emergency Response procedures and advising crews on their responsibilities.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
15 years experience in offshore construction industry.
Minimum 8 years experience as a barge foreman on a major offshore pipe lay vessel
Minimum 4-5 years DP offshore construction experience
