Summary of Position

• The Biology Teacher will be charged with the responsibility of implementing and delivering a balanced and relevant curriculum for the students and support the overall Biology curriculum.
• The incumbent will also monitor and support the overall progress and development of the students both as a teacher and a mentor, encourage a learning experience that provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and contribute to the raising standards of students’ attainment.
• The incumbent shall share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth within the context of established policies and procedures of the School.

Requirements

• A good Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or any other life science related courses from a recognized tertiary institution. A Postgraduate Diploma in Education/ Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years working experience especially in an international Secondary School/higher Institution.
• Participation in all student activities
• Strong critical thinking and counseling skills
• Proficiency in the use of technology.
