IT Manager at Alpha Mead Facilities & Management Services (AMFacilities)

Role Summary

The IT Manager will be responsible for the computer systems within a company. He/She will also oversee installation, ensure back-up systems operate effectively, purchase hardware and software, provide the ICT technology infrastructures for an organization and contribute to organisational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operation.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Operate consoles in order to monitor the performance of the LAN/WAN; and to coordinate computer network access and use.
• Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
• Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
• Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system, peripherals, printers and network requirements.
• Analyse equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement.
• Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
• Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation.
• Coordinate with company personnel in order to recommend and facilitate IT purchases.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures and checklists for end users and IT assets.

• Create and manage the company’s Email Accounts / SharePoint Software Development and system roll out
• ICT Asset Planning and Management
• Business Process Analysis and Automation support
• Third Party outsourced  ICT Services Administration and support
• Data and Document Management services
• ICT Hardware Infrastructure Management.

Skillset and Profile

• Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports.
• Candidate must be strong in quantitative analysis, must be able to think critically to tackle complex challenges, thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel, Powerpoint and Word processor skills, SQL Server, Networking and wide variety of ERPs
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence others and build credible relationships.
• Ability to exercise a degree of flexibility within a fast moving environment
