Laboratory Shift In-Charge at WACOT Limited

Details: Role Profile:-

• To ensure timely and accurate testing of raw material,  packaging material, final product, and final product and  proper maintenance of result records.
• To investigate the complaints about quality of final  product.
• To coordinate with production section for corrective  measures on non-conformance observed during the inspection  and testing
• Ensure that the quality of product produced and dispatched  are as per statutory requirement of standards to meet  customers satisfactions.
• Carry out the inspection and analysis of final material
• Ensure sanitation and hygiene inspection and  bacteriological examination of production area, lines,  equipment’s, stores and testing area Arrange timely calibration of measuring and test equipment  of Laboratory.
• Ensure that processes needed for the quality management  system are established, implemented and maintained
• Carried out all laboratory related works in an appropriate  manner.
• Ensure that GMP practices on place.
• Ensure that product are being stored in a safe condition  and are being used with the correct fumigant.
• Ensure that good storage and fumigation activities are in  place.

Job Requirements (Qualification & Skills)

• B. Sc. Chemistry or Microbiology, B. Agric. Or  B.sc/HND Food Technologies (Whichever can apply)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong team working skills, with an ability to  motivate others and to lead or manage teams and  projects
• An understanding of, and ability to work with, high- level computer technology.
• Process & Procedure Implementation Skills.
• Computer literacy and IT Skills.

Experience

• Relevant work experience up to 3-5 years in agro  processing industry.
• In depth Knowledge of GMP/HACCP/ISO-22000
• Understanding of the Plant & Process  activity/knowledge of food processing & water  testing.
• Knowledge of personnel hygiene and safety
• Ability to work extended shift hours.
