Senior Operator (Milling) at WACOT Limited

Details: Role Profile:-

• Operate machines in the rice mill to so as to get the best  quality rice.
• Adjusts gate in spout to regulate flow of rice into the  machine keeping in view the load on the driving electric  motor.
• Observes cleaning and hulling processes, feels rice, and  adjusts machinery to ensure rice is processed in accordance  with specifications.
• Routine cleaning of sieves and replacement of rubber rolls  as and when required.
• Strict adherence to all work instructions for milling  /equipment.
• Performs related duties, such as lubricating equipment and  repairing machinery keep production reports.
• Proper utilization of casual workers in different section  of the rice mill.
• Ensure that the output is produced as per quality norms.
• Ensure machinery cleanliness and up-keep.
• Ensure to operate the machine at best capacity.
• Check the by-products regular intervals so as to avoid loss  of good rice.
• Ensure safety rules are observed in the plant

.Job Requirements (Qualification & Skills)

• HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of, and ability to work with, average- level computer technology.Experience
• Relevant work experience up-to 5 years in agro  processing industry. Experience in Rice Milling  plant will be preferred.
• Experience in PLC based plant will be an added  advantage.
• Ability to work shift extended hours.For this role, the successful candidate must be quick to learn and be a team player, as he will be expected to participate and contribute to the overall success of the team
