Mechanical Engineer (Engineering In-charge) at WACOT Limited

Details: Role Profile:-

• Communicates directly with the power plant operations  department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in  plant areas.
• Do maintenance of equipment, management of Spare parts, and  maintain history of plant equipment.
• Supervises plant maintenance personnel.Planning and ensuring that the preventive maintenance is  carried out as per schedule.
• Ensuring timely completion of breakdowns so as to avoid  loss of production.
• Training the plant operators on routine maintenance.
• Ensuring the proper use of spare parts replaced.
• Ensuring all safety norms followed while carrying out any  maintenance job.
• Able to prioritize the maintenance job in hand.
• Able to read and to consult technical documentation,  drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Assist engineering in plant design, modification and hazard analysis, and work with plant operators to optimize plant controls.Ensuring that the equipment works with minimum down time  across 2 shifts.
• Regular & preventive maintenance of all equipment in line  with the OEM recommendations.
• Implement and manage all documentations and track systems  on each equipment’s to ensure it is operated as per the OEM  recommendations.
• Ensuring that all inputs into each equipment meet the  parameters specified by the OEM.
• Training a team of capable operators and mechanics for the  equipment.

Job Requirements (Qualification & Skills)

• B. Eng. Or HND (Mechanical Engineering)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong team working skills, with an ability to  motivate others and to lead or manage teams and  projects;
• A high level of attention to detail;
• An understanding of, and ability to work with, high- level computer technology.
• Process & Procedure Implementation Skills.
• Computer literacy and IT Skills.

Experience

• Relevant work experience up to 5-10 years in agro  processing industry.
• Handling the preventive and breakdown maintenance in  Power Plant.
• In depth Knowledge of Utilities Maintenance.
• Ability to work extended shift hours.
• For this role, the successful candidate must be quick to learn and be a team player, as he will be expected to participate and contribute to the overall success of the team.
