An International Construction company located in both Lagos and Abuja is seeking to hire Business Development Managers.

These individuals must be passionate about business development and must have an idea of the Building and Construction industry.

Overview/Position Summary

Responsible for developing new business opportunities for the client while managing relationships with clients, brokers, contractors, designers and internal team members. Primary role in developing opportunities focused on creating new business relationships for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Increase market exposure 
• Analyze market activity and define ideal project opportunities
• Participate in the collection, management, and reporting of an accurate client database, revenue goals for preconstruction and construction services
• Assist the business development team with opportunity calls, event coordination, and presentation of the value proposition for construction services
• Provide ongoing updates on business development activities and pipeline forecasting
• Respond to new and existing client needs and requests by coordinating and overseeing involvement of Design and Project Management. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all work, necessary documentation, and final sign off on all projects
• Work with preconstruction team and construction team to qualify client needs, budget, project schedule from early planning through completion
• Collaborate with preconstruction and construction team throughout the project to ensure client and project teams expectations are met
• Maintain business development involvement and visibility through the duration of all projects to foster relationships with clients and project team

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND (Engineering degree would be an added advantage)
• 3 plus years marketing experience in architectural, estate or construction firm
• Must be willing to work with minimum supervision
• Must have the passion for business development
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Experience with prefabricated construction is preferred
