Data Analyst / Warehouse Developer at ARM Hold Co.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively mine ARMP’s data and produce value adding insights to aid better business decision making.
• Manage and maintain data warehouse to ensure that reporting jobs are successfully run, and analytics data aligns to timeliness / completeness requirement.
• Work with database administrators to ensure that the data warehouse is tuned for optimal performance.
• Work with business analysts and project managers to develop and refine reporting and analytics requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and publish the agreed reporting requirements from the data warehouse.
• Ensure proper acceptance testing and business sign off are achieved for each published report.
• Ensure that upgrades and enhancements to the data warehouse are properly planned and implemented to agreed quality standards.
• Ensure that all supporting documentation is fully maintained including full version and release control.
• Work with the data quality manager to identify and resolve data issues through configuration of data cleansing and de-duplication software
• Maintain the data warehouse and reports to ensure they are published on time and that the information published is accurate.

Requirements

• Minimum of first degree or equivalent in an analytical related field, including information technology, science, and engineering discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+ and/or related will be preferred
• 5+ years of related work experience in data warehousing, data processing.
• Grade Level: Analyst - Senior Analyst.

• Cognate experience implementing a database solution for business intelligencereporting purposes.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse tools and concepts.
• Knowledge of structured analysis methods.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to analyze and document business reporting requirements with an understanding of the resulting technical implications.
• Fluency in effective communication at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
