    Laundry Operator / Assistant

    Job Description

    • Receive clothes from customers
    • Inspect laundry upon receipt to identify stains, tears etc.
    • Maintain adequate records of items received
    • Operate and monitor washing and drying laundry machines, including adding chemicals, starching, cleaning lint traps
    • Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry cleaning machines before transferring them to the pressing / finishing department.
    • Release laundered clothes to customers upon completion of the laundry process.

    Requirements

    • Must be cordial and respectful
    • Must have good command of the English language
    • Hardworking
    • Must possess an eye for detail
    • Must be able to work under pressure
    • Minimum education WAEC / SSCE
