    Regional Head, Business Development

    Details:

    Job Objectives:

    • To supervise and manage the activities of regional sales teams.
    • To actively develop relationships to enhance business growth via RSA generation and FUM growth within the region.

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    •  Co-ordinate, supervise and closely monitor the activities of sales teams within the region and ensure key performance indicators set out for each year are met.
    • Ensure that all team members have and maintain detailed knowledge of company’s products and services and use such knowledge to maximize the sale of pension products and services.
    • To identify and address knowledge & skills gaps within the teams.
    • Keey abreast of all market developments, with particular focus on RSA or business generation opportunities, and consistently provide management with current information, to ensure consistently shortest time to market.
    • Stay abreast of competitors’activities in the regions, and provide management with up-to-date information to ensure the company remains ahead of the competition at all times.
    • Develop and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders in the region of operations, which includes both key public and private sector decision-makers and infuencers.
    • Consistent identification and exploitation of new markets for increased RSA enrolment and FUM growth
    • Ensure adequate development and optimal utilization of the technology platform to enhance overall customer experience.
    • Constantly maintain high level presence within the public and corporate sectors to enhance AXA Mansard Pensions’ market presence within the regional market space.
    • Develop a clear succession plan for the respective roles within the team
    • Develop and coordinate all strategy development plans for the continued growth of the team and the business.
    • Seek out engagement fora.
    • Anchor and make presentations at customer engagement fora.
    • Carry out any other assignment that might be delegated by the Head, Business Development.

    Required Skills and Competencies

    • Sound written and verbal communication skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.
    • Understanding of the basic technical details of the pensions business.
    • Highly sociable with a good charisma to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.
    • Business writing skills, negotiation and presentation skills.
    • Good use of the computer.
    • Relationship management skills.
    • Leadership skills.
    • Strong organizational capability
    • Geographical mobility
