Internal Control Specialist at Transsion Holdings

 Responsibilities:

• Plan individual audits, defining audit objectives and scope, develop work programs for each engagement and conduct a risk-based audit.
• Prepayment audit of all payment vouchers to ensure that the payments are authorized and approved.
• Produce, share and discuss monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual audit reports.
• Conduct fraud investigations and scientific surveillance of suspected cases of fraud and malpractices
• Identify and implement improvements in internal auditing processes, keep abreast with current developments that may affect audit practices; establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for internal audit functions.

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree/HND
• Relevant professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CFE.
• Have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience, 2 of which must be in internal auditing.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must have good presentation skill.
• Proven ability to manage a team or group of people effectively.
• Ability to speak French is an added advantage.
