Line Leader at Perfetti Van Melle

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Lead a crew of production technicians and operators to ensure the accurate, safe and timely production of a variety of products.
• Prepare and verify equipment, tools and materials are ready for use at the start of each shift according to established procedures and schedule.
• Operate production equipment in the preparation of products.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with other production staff to ensure efficiency, quality and safety are always paramount.
• Assist Supervisors and Head of Production in the daily running of production.
• Liase with technician for machine set up and machine down/problem.
• Ensure operators achieve/perform to daily targets and output.
• Maintain good housekeeping at all time at the respective working area.
• Must be able to adapt to any job as per assigned by the superior

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must possess at least OND/HND in Engineering or any other Science related courses.
• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience preferably in an FMCG outfit.
