    Technical Sales Manager

    Role Summary

    • The Bentley Nevada Technical Sales Manager leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a specialized field.
    • In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities to maintain and grow the sales pipeline
    • Develop and execute sales strategies relevant to the market opportunities
    • Communicate individual customer requirements for Sales Manager in regards to design and quotation
    • Gather industry intelligence to inform business decision-making.
    • Communicate requirements for order fulfilment to sourcing and operations
    • Direct customer management through clear communication internally and externally
    • Document competitors’ activities and assess potential market moves.
    • Review and influence customer specifications to assure compliance and/or noted exceptions for development of equipment and service quotations
    • Make technical presentations to all levels of customer organization.
    • Develop engineering and installation work scopes, schedules and cost estimates to facilitate total scope project offerings
    • Manage and negotiate commercial and contractual risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process
    • Contribute positively to regional sales, orders, profitability, and ITO quality goals
    • Educate Sales, Services and ITO team on latest NPI's - New Products introductions through trainings and workshops

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Commercial or Oil & Gas industry
    • Bentley Nevada Technical competency
    • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
    • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
    • Six sigma training is preferred
    • Solid presentation skills
    • Strong creative problem solving skills
    • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Strong customer mindset
    • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to travel on short notice across the region and for 50% of the time
