Summary
IVTEC is a pioneering technical and vocational education model initiated by the Kwara State Government (KWSG). KWSG provided the initial funding and partnered with a world-renowned City & Guilds International for the design and construction of campus facilities, which were completed in 2015. As an NGO, the organizational and financial structure of IVTEC allows for an array of partnerships and collaborations with individuals, business and industry from within and outside Nigeria to ensure its future financial sustainability.

IVTEC is scheduled to commence operations in the last quarter of 2017 with the first set of instructional programs in Automotive, Building/Construction, Welding, Electrical, and HVAC trades.

About the Role
Key Performance Areas:

• Raising plants from seeds or cuttings
• Digging, planting and weeding flower beds and borders
• Pruning shrubs
• Checking the health of plants
• Maintaining lawns and gardens within College premises
• Cleaning and maintaining garden equipment
• Basic building tasks, like putting up sheds and building walls
• Remove and load refuse to the dumping place for proper disposal
• Provide support on the preparation of ground for functions
• Fertilizing, irrigating, cutting, mowing, weeding and pruning.
• Remove and load refuse to the dumping place or burnt.

Requirements, Education & Certification

• WAEC/HND/OND in any field
• Years in Career: minimum of 1 year.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read write and communicate in English.
