    Receptionist

    Location: Ajase-Ipo, Kwara
    Reporting to: The Registrar

    Summary
    IVTEC is a pioneering technical and vocational education model initiated by the Kwara State Government (KWSG). KWSG provided the initial funding and partnered with a world-renowned City & Guilds International for the design and construction of campus facilities, which were completed in 2015. As an NGO, the organizational and financial structure of IVTEC allows for an array of partnerships and collaborations with individuals, business and industry from within and outside Nigeria to ensure its future financial sustainability.

    IVTEC is scheduled to commence operations in the last quarter of 2017 with the first set of instructional programs in Automotive, Building/Construction, Welding, Electrical, and HVAC trades.

    About the Role

    • The Receptionist will be responsible for handling front office reception and administrative duties, handling College inquiries, sorting and distributing mall.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Develops and maintains office forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks.
    • Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
    • Receives visitors and telephone calls responds to inquiries front employees,
    • Operates listed office machines such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets anti fax machines
    • Prepare outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mall.
    • Duplicates and distributes materials.
    • Composes, types and edits correspondences, reports, memorandum and other materials.
    • Maintains office supply inventory

    Requirements, Education & Certification

    • HND/OND in Business Administration
    • Years in Career: minimum of 3 years.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Fluency in written and spoken English required;
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint;
    • High level of digital literacy and familiarity with database management systems;
    • Proven ability to work under pressure, ensure coherence and consistency, independently, and meet deadlines consistently.
