Job Description

There is a role for an Operations Supervisor for an Oil and Gas Firm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficient coordination and controlling of the order cycle and processes;
• Identifies opportunities for efficient delivery of petroleum products;
• Gathers and analyses market intelligence for a more cost-effective delivery of products; Liaises, negotiates and interfaces with Depot officials and Trucking companies;
• Ensures depot operations are in strict compliance with company Product Release Procedures;
• Coordinates the loading and logistics operations in a safe and controlled manner and in compliance with the standards, procedures, legislation and depot management specific systems.

Specification:

• First degree (essential);
• 5 Years related experience;
• Good knowledge of downstream petroleum sector, terminal operations, engineering and facility upgrades; Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, etc.) ;
• Good knowledge of flow dynamics, custody transfer systems, safety regulations, petroleum industry codes, specifications and standards;
• Conversant with templates for capturing operations downtime effectiveness
