Crew Assistant/Operative at JCDecaux Group

Location: Victoria Island - Lagos

Roles & Responsibilities

• Loading / unloading of vehicles
• Cleaning of vehicles, work areas, tools and equipment
• Ensuring availability of cleaning materials required for cleaning vehicles, work areas, tools and equipment
• Excavation for foundations and trenches as required
• Mixing, placing and finishing off of concrete bases
• Erection of media types in accordance with the correct procedures
• Removal of media types as required
• Maintenance of media types by replacement or repair of all components in accordance with the correct procedures
• Preventative maintenance i.e. derusting, painting of worn parts, etc.
• Flighting of advertising panels and flex
• Cutting of grass around the Company’s asset
• Trimming of trees as directed
• Washing of panels
• Grouting of bins
• Painting of area signs
• Moving of any plastic bags / rubbish away from the litterbins to prevent obstruction of the litterbin
• Removal of damaged assets
• Removal of illegal posters
• Small repairs to assets

• Good time-management.
