Junior Auditor at AFM Recruit

JOB SUMMARY: Afmrecruit is a recruiting firm based in Lekki phase 1. We are looking to recruit for a good junior Auditor for a client of ours that are into REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT. Our client needs the Auditor who is so vice in the aspects of internal auditing and be able to detect fraud in the dealings of the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You would talk to the client about what preparations they need to make, such as providing working space and access to documents.
• During the audit itself, you will check expenditures, revenue and other financial records to ensure that all numbers are accurate, regulations are complied with, and all payments are accurately classified and recorded.
• You may then help to prepare the discussion draft of the audit report.
• You would attend meetings with the client and senior auditor and complete the audit report.
• Junior auditors may also put together status reports and internal communications.
• Their works include an organized appraisal with financial records, control managements, practices, policies and reports. They may also analyze contracts, investigate claims and validate vital financial documents and records.
• The auditor will be keeping in touch with accounting to check certain error that occurs in the company.

SKILLS

• You are always working within tight timescales and often with several different departments at a time. Naturally, you will have excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You may go into external offices, meet new people and you must get them to cooperate with you. You will also have to present audit findings to senior professionals.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT.

• The candidate must be a graduate of Accounting from a good reputable university.
• The candidate must have a two years’ experience knowing proper aspects of financial statement, auditing, cost accounting, managerial accounting, statistics, taxation and strategic management.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical and communication skills are also important
