Onshore Construction Manager, Plants at Saipem Contracting

Responsibilities / Requirements

• Provide leadership for project construction activities, supervising multidisciplinary construction works according to contract requirements and project objectives,
• Ensure the implementation of HSE procedures for construction . and precommissioning of plants
• Give guidelines in the definition of strategies, such as subcontracting plans, logistic and constructibility studies.
• Participate in defining the overall project planning and scheduling for construction activities.
• Coordinating and.instructing construction team with corrective actions
• Analyze all information regarding the progress of the project, indicating the causes of deviations between planned and actual and propose solutions to construction challenges.
• Ensure the implementation of recovery plans, if needed, including the replanning of activities
• Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination verifying adequacy and consistency of construction strategies.
• Coordinate the execution of multidisciplinary construction activities and manage activities assigned to subcontractors, providing the guidelines for the execution of the works and monitoring the adequacy of manpower and equipment to face construction activities
• Manage interface with engineering departments for drawings and materials availability
• Manage Mechanical Completion activity by System & Sub-System as identified by Commissioning Manager.

Qualification and Experience

• A degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in the energy sector.
