Summary: The Electrician provides mechanical services per Netrux Global Concepts Limited objectives and/or standards and performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of generations. He inspects, isolates, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Troubleshoots and repairs generators.
• Ability to complete the task of overhauling generators
• Diagnoses causes of mechanical problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair
• Monitors the mechanical work of outside contractors (e.g. new sites, electrical system upgrades/expansions, major remodels, installations etc.) for the purpose of ensuring that the projects are satisfactory completed and within our clients’ specifications.
• Responds quickly to routine and emergency calls for mechanical repairs and service
• Inspects generators and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifies necessary repairs and recommends preventive maintenance. Takes appropriate action and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Informs supervisor regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions

Desired Qualities

Education/Experience

• High school diploma and vocational program in mechanical training.
•  Minimum of Three (3) years relevant experience in Industrial and Commercial Electrical works or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical theory and methods, materials, tools, equipment and systems used in the mechanical trade.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable codes and regulations pertaining to the mechanical trade; inspection of, identification, and knowledge of all mechanical distribution systems, methods and practices.
• Must have knowledge of Basic first aid procedures.
• Must be able to skillfully operate and safely use required tools/power equipment common in the mechanical trades. Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely and tolerate exposure environmental hazards
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills and great attention to detail. Must be able to work as a member of a team and possess good problem solving skills.
