    Head of Human Resource and Administration

    Job Dimension

    • Making strategic contribution in Human Resources Planning and Development as well as providing efficient administrative support services that would enhance achievement of organization’s business objectives
    • Make significant contribution to achieving objectives loan important aspect or area of the organization’s work Control may be exercised over a medium sized department and budget.
    • The job frequently requires the exercise of judgment and initiative in dealing with situations and solving problems, which involves interpreting generalized guidelines and precedents
    • The work is diverse, consisting of a number of different elements, these are broadly related to one another and may require the use of a range of different shots (multi-skilling).
    • The work involves solutions to problems across a number of areas, which require extensive enquiry and interpretation arid a high degree of independent judgment.
    • Frequent contacts are made at all but the highest level with people inside and outside one organization
    • The work involves some pressure or stress arising for example, from meeting deadlines, dealing with people, or frequent changes in priorities

    Qualification and Experience

    • A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable University in Business Administration or Social Sciences.
    • Post Graduate qualification in Administration, Health or related fields
    • Certification in or professional membership of Administration, Health or related bodies
    • Good knowledge of accounting software
    • Minimum of 10 years experience post NYSC
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant and related field
    • Attendance of related courses, workshops, seminars, etc.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Age not more than 45 years as at last birthday and physically fit.
    • Considerable competence in a managerial or professional field in order to understand and apply advanced policies, practices, concepts or principles
    • Must be a person of integrity
    • Ability to evolve administrative and personnel policies and procedures to meet organization’s business objectives
    • Good knowledge of human resources planning and development.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, planning and organization, people management and negotiation skill
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Proficiency in the use of computer.
