The ministry seeks highly experienced and qualified candidates to fill the above positions.
The candidates required must have at least 2 years hands-on work experience in
- Metal Works/Welding
- Sanitary works/plumbing
- Electrical Works and or Bricklaying/Tiling
Candidates with a minimum 3 years of secondary school education and in possession of a trade test certificate will have an advantage. Interested OND/HND holders/graduates with requisites experience may apply
Successful candidates must be able to communicate in English.
They will undergo a technical training course in vocational skills related to their discipline in Germany, sponsored by the Ministry of Education.
A number of candidates vi/ill also be selected on merit for full-time employment
as co-trainers at the German-managed and RSVG-sponsored
Port Harcourt Technical and Vocational Centre.
Prospective candidates must possess valid ID Cards. An international passport for travelling will be required from November 2013. Preference will be given to candidates aged below 38 and resident in Port Harcourt
