    Quality Control Manager

    OVERVIEW OF ROLE

    All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

    All personnel are also expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct. 

    Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities

    • Assisting in, implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS).
    • Identifying requirement for quality assurance and quality control.
    • Reviewing and provide inputs into tenders and contracts.
    • Develops and coordinates the implementation of inspections test plan.
    • Receives and collates inspections records from inspectors at work locations taking appropriate actions based on information received.
    • Ensuring proper documentation of all quality records.
    • Observing if (project) activities are performed in accordance with quality requirements.
    • Routine inspection for fabrication, installation and reporting on control activities.
    • Promoting of quality policy.
    • Quality surveillance of subcontractors and supplier’s inspection and test and activities.
    • Identification and reporting of quality area of concern to project QA Manager.
    • Reporting of project quality performance.
    • Analysis of Quality Trends.
    • Documentation of Finals As-Build Documentations as per CLIENT requirements.
    • Reporting and monitoring of welders and welding operators.
    • Proposing and Stimulating optimization and improvements.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

    • Additional qualifications from a professional body are desirable.
    • Affiliation/member with nationally recognized professional body; if applicable
    • Degree/Qualification in related course or other equivalent experience, plus minimum of 7years relevant working experience in Oil & Gas (Construction, Engineering, Offshore sectors etc.) or relevant sectors
    • Pro-active and positive  to changes and challenges
    • Pro-active and open in communication with all interfacing parties.
    • Demonstrate a good level of initiative
    • Team oriented and performance driven
