Mechanical Work Manager - Superintendent at Saipem Contracting

Responsibilities/Requirements

• Perform Instrumentation 3D modelling design activities and participate in 3D Modelling reviews
• Initiate P and ID general legend sheets for equipment, piping and instrumentation.
• Create typical piping arrangements to be standardized for P and ID homogenization and consistency
• Ensure development of P and ID based on process PFD cut and apply proper engineering general criteria and guidelines
• Participate in the collective P and ID review with Process and Engineering Disciplines
• Ensure total traceability of P and ID modifications
• Participate in site surveys for revamping projects to collect as-built information on PIDs, when necessary
• Perform thermal design of shell and tubes heat exchangers and develop thermal datasheets accordingly
• Be involved in the review of vendor documentation (PFDs, process datasheets, narratives, P and ID5, utility balances, etc)

Qualification and Experience

• A Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry..
