Responsibilities:
Review of the current security framework in line with the Bank's GRC framework
Policies, Processes and Procedures
Tools, solutions, staffing and infrastructure
Gap reports
Remediation Roadmap
Remediation advisory / support
Conduct regular threat events correlation from different security devices on the network and use the data for analysis of trends and potential security breaches
Reporting on security risks and vulnerabilities
Providing remediation advisory identified risks and vulnerabilities
Provide the results of an external scan, a penetration test, and a vulnerability assessment of the internal reachable servers and devices
Provide day to day monitoring of security events
Assess the overall security of the internal security applications and services, including Web, Ebanking, FTP, DNS, and VPN.
Assess security of DMZ hardware, such as VPN devices, routers, switches, firewalls, and Load-balancing applications.
Assess configuration of firewalls, Network access control, DMZ, server operating systems, and components, including an evaluation based on security "best practices."

Requirements:
Good technology related university degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Numeric Science;
Experience in developing and administering an information security program desirable in a large to medium size bank/ financial institution.
8 years cognate experience in IT
