We are currently working with this client  who are a leading Nigerian  E&P with extensive  proven reserves of guaranteed to sustain many decades of active production to recruit for the following roles:

Base Manager Material Logistics

Location: Nigeria

Salary: Negotiable

Role Responsibilities:

• To advise Management on all materials, logistics and procurement management issues and to recommend appropriate strategies to minimise cost and maximise operational efficiency.
• Responsible for the overall operational performance of the Logistics/Supply Base  office, FPSU store and store facilities
• Monthly inventory checks as well as track movements of materials online real time both at the warehouse and the FPSO
• Produce reviews as required on helicopter and fixed wing costs utilisation and alternatives.
• Attend Drilling, Management & Integrated Operations Planning plus other ad hoc meetings requiring M & L input

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Management or other related qualifications.
• Minimum of 10 + years working as a Materials & Logistics and Procurement expert preferably within the Oil and Gas industry
• Knowledge of Logistics equipment for land, sea and air
• Shipping plus Clearing and Forwarding processes
• Procurement, Materials& Logistics document control
