    Database Developer

    Essential Requirements:
    A Masters degree in any discipline that requires the active use of database technology.
    Extensive, demonstrable experience of developing MS Access Databases.
    Extensive experience in designing data models for relational databases.
    Extensive experience of programming using VBA, ADO, DAO, ASP, ASP.NET, C#.NET and HTML with a good understanding of SQL scripting.
    Experience creating Microsoft ADP projects.
    Experience of using ODBC and OLEDB.
    Sound knowledge on SQL SERVER 2008/2005.
    Experience in Windows Mobile application development (particularly for PDAs using .Net)
    Experience in Visual Studio 2005 (or 2003)
    Exposure to EAV data modelling.
    Excellent problem solving skills.
    The ability to work independently to deadlines.
    Excellent communication skills.
    The ability to work with non-technical staff in a constructive manner.
    The ability to be attentive to detail.

    Preferred:
    Androtd application development skill.
    Previous expertence working in a multi-disciplinary team.
    Previous experience of working in the field of medical research.
    The post will be for 2 years initially extendable by mutual agreement.
    An attractive salary will be paid with allowances.
