Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment) at Primus Group

Major Accountabilities of the position:

• Diversified experience in engineering and construction in onshore, offshore, FPSO, and Pipeline projects
• Develop technical specifications, prepare inquiry packages, perform technical bid evaluations, recommend successful vendors, prepare procurement documents, reviewing vendor documents and coordinating with other disciplines and solving technical problems
• Evaluate rotating equipment including API 610 pumps, centrifugal compressors, expanders, and agitators.
• Analyze static equipments including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and specialized package equipment
• Familiar with various codes and standard such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFC and ASME

• Skilled knowledge in specifications such as, Packaged Equipment Design , Pump Design , Compressor Design, Vessel Design, Heat Exchange Equipment Design, Mech. Equipment Driver Design, Ancillary Equipment Design , Detailed Mechanical Design Calculations,
• Mechanical Transmission etc.

Industry Specific Experience:
5 years of related working experience.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.

HSE Capability:
Commitment to safe working practices and ability to promote safety consciousness within the department.

IT Skills:
Proficiency in utilizing PC and various computer engineering applications software s  (including CAD, Microstation CAD systems if applicable)

People Skills:
Requires communication skills to be able to successfully work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other disciplines.
