    Vendor Accounts Manager

    Job Description

    •     To develop strategies to increase sales opportunities through direct relationship with the vendors.
    •     Candidate will generate new vendors account, develop and improve the way in which our client performs its e-commerce business.
    •     Negotiate best deals, maintain and manage vendors relationships. Add new vendors to the sites & new product lines. Responsible for marketing strategies for the promotion of the Web. Act as a brand ambassador for the company.

    Job Responsibilities

    •     Lead the sales/vendor tie-ups, meeting the revenue & margin targets, manage relationships with super stockists & distributors
    •     Drive business development activities, conduct marketing activities, generate & identify sales leads
    •     Manage customer relationships to identify opportunities for e-commerce growth.
    •     Develop strategies to increase sales opportunities

    Contract Management:
    Manage the vendors' responsibilities outlined in the contract, statement/scope of engagement. Authoring contract documents, including service level exhibits, statements of work, and examples. Respond to and manage vendor queries regarding the products on the website in a timely manner; develop business proposals for new and existing vendor companies.

    Financial and Quantitative Analysis:
    Understanding the financial rationale for decisions, extrapolating internal and vendor costs to develop this analysis using it for price setting and variation. Performing product quality tests, evaluating all terms and conditions of product listings, keep track of vendor product uploads on the back end of company's website.

    Relationship Management:
    Act as interface between vendors and the company, keep vendors informed on developments in the organization or changes in market conditions that might affect demand for vendors' products or services. Regular appraisal of vendors in compliance with company's Standard Operating Procedure, Consistent request for product/prices updates improving efficiency and reducing the risk of excess capacity or supply shortages.

    Required Qualification & Experience

    •     Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related fields. Masters/MBA degree will be an added advantage
    •     At least 3 years experience in E-commerce industry or 5 year experience in FMCG
    •     Successful experience in the business-to-business sector
    •     An innate sense to go above and beyond to provide vendors with exceptional customer service
    •     Experience managing vendor relationships
    •     Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
    •     Verifiable track record of success in vendor management
