Job description
Prospective candidates would be responsible for the complete life cycle of a new/existing software product in terms of development, from research and design to implementation, training and support.
You will be responsible for the replacement of a whole system based on the specifications provided by the CTO and IT analyst, but often you'll work with software developed by Rom-Flex, modifying it and integrating it. The skill in this is creating the code to link the systems together.
You'll also be responsible for:
- Reviewing current systems
- Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
- Working closely with analysts, designers and staff
- Producing detailed specifications and writing the programme codes
- Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
- Preparation of training manuals for users
- Maintaining the systems once they are up and running

Server Side Scripting in PHP

Grounded knowledge in HTML (from HTML 4.x to HTML 5)

Javascript knowledge especially using jQuery framework

Object Oriented Designing and Modeling

Database Modeling and Design

Grounded knowledge in SQL scripting

Experience in a PHP Framework (Zend Framework most preferably)
