    Regional Sales Manager

    Job Description

    • Successful candidates will coordinate all the sales  activities within the assigned state and ensure the achievement of agreed upon sales targets and execution of sales policies and sales strategies with the aim of meeting the needs of the customers, increasing our market presence and ultimately increasing revenue generation from the area.
    • He/She will report to the Regional Sales Director.

    Responsibilities
    The candidates, in his/her respective State, would also be:

    • The one stop contact for all the sales requirements (among others, to be in close contact with all distributors, to address all of their issues).
    • Responsible for the meeting the State's Target.
    • Responsible for the expansion of our distribution base and responsible for increasing the market share of Dangote Cement in the state.
    • Responsible to implement the branding and visibility strategy.
    • Responsible for planning and conducting sales promotional activities.
    • Liaising with the other areas involved in the sales and distribution process, ensuring that the deliveries and the level of service expected by our customer are met.

    Requirement
    Person Specification:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline Sales/Market/Business Management/Mass Communication.
    • Post graduate qualification (MBA) with specification in Sales/Marketing.
    • Minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant work experience in sales.
    • Strong organising and time management skill
    • Good interpersonal and communication, presentation and facilitation skills
    • In-depth understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislation relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of macro and micro environmental trends and their impact on the organisation.
    • Excellent knowledge of the products and service offering of Dangote Cement Plc
    • Excellent leadership and people management skills
    • Very good negotiation and relationship management skills
    • Good administrative skills
